art for a cause.
Giving back to the community has always been incredibly important to me, and Fat Dog Arts was built with the intention of putting my money (and time) where my mouth is. I've never wanted to use my art as a means to financially support myself, so 20% of the full sales price of all of my originals, and 10% of all reproductions and merchandise are donated to nonprofits that support or protect the subject of the piece-- my way of giving back a little of what I get out of it.
In addition to monetary donations, I have previously volunteered with PAWS, the Seattle Aquarium, and Woodland Park Zoo. Currently I am the volunteer Webmaster and Application Manager for the Edmonds Art Studio Tour and I volunteer as a lifeguard, boating instructor, and storyteller at a local Girl Scout Camp (pictured right).
