digital.

Digital art is my newest endeavor, and the most fun I've had in a long time. It's really let me reach new levels of skill, creativity, and depravity. Please enjoy these highlights of my recent exploration into burn out, living as a neurospicy individual in a Ritz Cracker world, and experimenting with sarcasm, fantasy escapism, and picking fights with out of touch family members as coping mechanisms.

See something you like? It's probably available in my store.

Don't see it? Let me know so I can rectify that and get you the merch-fueled dopamine rush you so sorely seek.

attempts at fine art.

When I was just starting digital art, I mainly used it as a way to augment or plan out a few of my traditional art pieces.

For example, I was able to experiment with linoleum print styles before committing to carving a piece, and mural proposals were much easier to visualize when I could just draw directly on a photo of the proposed space.

world building.

What started as a DnD homebrew world has taken over my life and I'm not mad about it.

As I built my homebrew peoples with varying amounts of inspiration from real-life cultures, I quickly became frustrated with the sort of Tolkien mono-culture of Germanic and Norse skinned elves and dwarves throughout fantasy art. So I figured... fine. I'll just do it myself.

People as subjects have never been my strong suit so this has been a fun exercise in getting out of my comfort zone. Are they exactly what I was looking for? Not even close. But I'm happy with the progress and the results so far (or at least the ones I posted here).

She's bitchy. She's bossy. She has mastered weaponizing her privilege. The bane of customer service employees everywhere, Karen is here and she wants to speak to a manager.

Watch out, she bites!
